Kyle Reifers was born in Columbus, Ohio and played college golf at Wake Forest University. Kyle had a very decorated amateur career that included being ranked the #1 amateur in the world and part of the prestigious US Walker Cup team in 2005. Kyle turned pro in 2006 following a runner-up finish at the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championships.

Kyle became only the 11th player in Tour history to win his first career start and the 19th to win on Tour as a Monday Qualifier when he won the 2006 Chattanooga Classic on the Tour. After finishing T29 at qualifying school, he earned his PGA TOUR card for 2007.
